Les Affaires Plus - Negative return bonds
In its Spring 2017 edition, the Les Affaires Plus magazine published an article (in French only) entitled "Des obligations à rendement négatif?" on page 30. This article by Ian Gascon, president of Idema Investments, explains the impact of taxes on the after-tax return of canadian bonds. It is shown that some bonds can have negative expected returns in certain circomstances.
