Les Affaires Plus - Reasonable return expectations?
In its September 2014 edition, the Les Affaires Plus magazine published an article (in French only) entitled "Des attentes de rendement réalistes?" on page 19. This article by Ian Gascon, president of Idema Investments, explains why most investors have unreasonable investment return expectations given the current macro-economic environment. It is also recommended to avoid increasing a portfolio's risk simply to target a higher return objective.
